Helping businesses return to work safely

eWorks on 17 February 2021

Online learning specialist eWorks is supporting Victorian businesses to reopen in a COVID-safe manner, with online training for staff in the hospitality and retail industries and local government.

The training, offered by the Victorian Government, covers safety and hygiene to help retailers, cafes, restaurants, pubs and other venues resume normal operations and give both staff and consumers confidence their health and safety are being protected.

eWorks has designed short, online courses for employees to learn about maintaining hygiene, safe food handling, registration and social distancing for customers and staff.

Head of eWorks, Dorothy Persic says eWorks is assisting organisations to bring their content to life with tailored services from content development to hosting of online courseware for clients across a range of sectors.

“An eLearning response enables governments and businesses to be agile and innovative in supporting their staff and demonstrating their commitment to customer safety,” she said. “The Return to Work program is easy to register online and once people have completed the course they receive a Certificate of Completion that they can present to their employer, and put on display to their customers.”
