Toolbox of the month

Interactive Ochre gets a facelift

A significant rebuild is underway to allow Toolbox 907, Interactive Ochre, to be used on an iPad and finally disaggregated into seven SCORM learning objects to be shared via the National VET Content repository. The rebuild includes updating all content to meet the current technical standards including accessibility standards. The new Toolbox will be available for purchase in January 2015. Interactive Ochre is an entertaining and engaging contemporary resource providing an Aboriginal perspective on cultural awareness training. Aimed to foster and develop inclusive work and learning environments, the Toolbox is multifunctional, empowering both indigenous and non-indigenous learners in urban, rural and remote contexts.
